Around the League in 60 Seconds Your primer on the fantasy impact of the latest NFL news.

by Jeff Ecker

We all knew it was only a matter of time before Brandon Jacobs missed a game due to injury. Word out of New York is that he will rest in Week 12. This will give both Derrick Ward and Ahmed Bradshaw extra carries this week against the Cardinals. This is just what every Jacobs owner wants to hear during the playoff run.

The Buccaneers have placed Earnest Graham on the IR, ending his season. This catapults Warrick Dunn into the starter's role and increases the limited value of former stud Cadillac Williams. The Bucs also signed former Packers bench-warmer Noah Herron this week. With both Herron and another Packer also-ran, Samkon Gado, being signed recently I am waiting with bated breath for the return of Dorsey Levens.

You are all quite welcome for the early heads up on Denver's Peyton Hillis. He had a great game last week, even if he did suffer a stinger. With the Broncos in no hurry to get Selvin Young back on the field (and really…can you blame them?) do not expect the mild shoulder injury to prevent Hillis from reminding all of us why Oakland is a god-awful football team.

Kellen Winslow owners are officially on Injury Watch this week after he was driven into the turf by former Nittany Lion stand-out Paul Posluszny. Winslow has been benefiting from Brady Quinn being under center, so unless Romeo Crennel specifically says otherwise expect Winslow to start this week. Let's not forget, Winslow is a soldier.

Even though Trent Edwards appeared to be a member of the Browns on Monday he is expected to remain the starter in Buffalo. Never discount how bad J.P. Losman is. Edwards may have stunk it up in Buffalo to the point where Canadians could smell it across the border, but Losman is worse. Besides, nothing cures a slump quite like playing the Chiefs.
